The consulting part of my service can be compared with the 'diagnosis' stage in the medical process. Before we recommend any intervention we need to understand the current situation, organizational culture and hierarchy, interpersonal dynamics etc. This may sound complex and time consuming but after 30 years of doing it we can cut to the core issues pretty quickly.

Knowing that many heads are better than one, I like to discuss the above issues with a representative sample of the team.  People are very perceptive and wise.  We put our heads together and collaboratively identify what the core issues are, how they play out in the specific organization (they are a somewhat different in every case) and together we narrow the field until we target the key elements that need to be changed.  Our goal is  to maximize the benefit and minimize the costs in terms of  time, effort and money.

My consulting report and recommendations will lay out the unique process we've followed in the above (we follow a 5 to 7 step process depending on the size and complexity of the project) and we almost always provide 2-3 optional strategy options.
